Flat Pack and Furniture Assembly in Perth CBD

City assembly work is mostly apartments, and apartments are mostly logistics. The build might take an hour. Getting a boxed wardrobe from a loading bay, through a service lift, along a corridor and into a unit on the fourteenth floor is the part that goes wrong. We do this often enough in the CBD and Northbridge to know which questions to ask before the day.

Lifts, docks and building managers

Most city towers require a service lift booking, and many only release delivery windows on weekdays between set hours. Some need a certificate of insurance lodged with the building manager before anyone can bring goods through. If you give us the building when you book, we will make those arrangements. If we turn up without them, the building will turn us away, and neither of us wants that trip.

Furniture built for small spaces

City apartments run small, which is exactly why flat pack dominates here. Wall beds, modular storage, compact desks and anything that has to be assembled in place because it will never fit through the door built. That last category is common in the CBD and it is worth saying plainly: a lot of furniture physically cannot enter a city apartment pre-assembled. Building it in the room is not a shortcut, it is the only way.

What we do in the city

  • Wardrobes and modular storage systems
  • Beds, bed bases and wall beds
  • Desks, office chairs and work-from-home setups
  • TV units and wall mounting, where strata permits
  • Small-space dining and lounge furniture
  • Disassembly for tenants moving out

Tenants and short leases

A lot of city work is move-in and move-out rather than a permanent home. If you are moving in, we assemble. If you are moving out, we take it apart, and if it is not coming with you we can take it away. Doing both ends with the same crew usually saves a bond dispute about scuffed walls and a lift that was never booked.

Northbridge, East Perth and West Perth

The same applies across the inner city. Older converted warehouses in Northbridge bring stair access and no lift at all, which changes what is realistic to carry up. We will tell you honestly before we book if something is not going to work.
